(China Daily) Results from an annual survey co-sponsored by Chinese newspaper China Daily and Japanese non-profit think tank Genron NPO show that Chinese and Japanese attitudes towards one another have hit a nine-year low, China Daily reported Thursday.
The survey data shows that the percentage of Chinese who hold negative feelings toward Japan stands at 92.8 percent, up 28 percentage points from last year's survey's results. Similarly, the percentage of Japanese surveyed who harbor negative sentiments toward China jumped from 83.4 percent last year to 90.1 percent this year.
