(The Diplomat, By Ankit Panda) Guo Wengui is a billionaire who resides in New York City, a fugitive from the CCP who claims to know many CCP elites and have worked with Chinese intelligence. He has long been critical of the Chinese government, which has attempted to censor him or capture him multiple times. The Trump administration, while at first seemingly willing to assist China with their goals, now seems to want Guo to stay, setting the stage for what may be another controversial arena in US-Chinese relations.
