(The Diplomat, By Joseph Bosco) The United States has made several concessions to China since President Donald Trump took office, including a hardened stance on Taiwan and not labeling China a currency manipulator. However, due to Chinese reluctance or delay in following through with its promises, the US should back up its stances in regards to Taiwan. President Trump should approve a pending arms sale and should publicly declare that the US will come to Taiwan's aid in the event of an attack.
